Sona is the Clinical Director at Two Chairs in San Francisco and Oakland.

She has wanted to work in mental health for as long as she can remember and feels passionately about increasing access to quality care. She believes that empathy can be transformative and that all human beings have the capacity for growth and change. Sona's approach to therapy is integrative in that she tailors treatment to a client's individual needs, drawing from multiple theories and strategies. She strives to balance acceptance and change, creating a validating environment where clients can feel understood, while also helping to identify behaviors and patterns that might be leading to distress. Her style is warm, empathetic and collaborative.

Outside of work, Sona enjoys traveling, baking and exploring the Bay Area.
