Two Chairs Strengthens Leadership Team with Matt Manders Joining Board of Directors and Michelle Crank as SVP of Commercial

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., January 30, 2025 – Two Chairs, a modern behavioral health company, today announced two key additions to its leadership. Matt Manders has joined the Board of Directors, and Michelle Crank has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Commercial. These appointments reflect Two Chairs’ commitment to scaling its impact, building stronger partnerships, and ensuring exceptional care for clients across the country.

Matt Manders Joins Board of Directors

Matt Manders brings over 30 years of healthcare leadership experience at Cigna, where he most recently served as President of the Government and Solutions organization. During his career, Manders led initiatives that integrated Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and individual market programs while driving innovation in digital, analytics, and clinical operations. He currently serves on the board of NeueHealth.

Manders held a variety of leadership roles at Cigna, including President of Strategy and Solutions, President US Markets and Operations, which included Customer Segments as well as overseeing Cigna HealthCare’s national contracting and provider services. A certified public accountant, Manders holds a BS from Rider University and began his career in auditing before advancing through Cigna.

Michelle Crank Appointed SVP of Commercial

Michelle Crank joins Two Chairs with over 20 years of digital health and leadership experience. In her career, Michelle has worked with payers, employers, and health systems to deploy innovative programs that improve access, outcomes, and engagement while advancing DEIB goals. Her expertise spans growth, marketing and strategy, supporting companies through the next phase of growth, funding and acquisition.   

Michelle’s background spans chronic condition management, preventive care, and lifestyle coaching through leadership roles at innovative companies like Wheel, Ovia Health, Omada Health, WebMD Health Services, and Healthways. In her role at Two Chairs, Michelle will lead the expansion of payer partnerships, furthering the company’s mission to make high-quality behavioral health care accessible and affordable.
