He specializes in relationship issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, the psyche of current and former athletes, and themes of race and cultural identity. He identifies as multi-racial and Asian American. He is interculturally responsive and inclusive. His therapy practice affirms intersectionality and the complex identities of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.

Outside the clinical setting, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, and dabbling in music.
