Calamity
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Cal believes it is an honor to connect with people on a deep and meaningful level. She believes that therapy should be a true partnership and strives to build authentic relationships with those she treats. Cal believes mental wellness is a lifelong journey, and she is passionate about breaking down barriers associated with mental health. She is trained in providing holistic care and focuses on the importance of understanding the mind–body connection. Cal understands that each individual has a unique and nuanced history; with a sincere sense of curiosity, she seeks to understand these complexities and uncover the strengths that already exist within us. Using a trauma-informed, client-centered, and somatic-based approach, Cal strives to help clients uncover intrinsic self-worth and find deeper meaning, peace and purpose in their lives. Cal also believes in the importance of making room for humor when it is appropriate to do so.
When Cal is not working you can find her exercising and exploring the outdoors, trying to make her baby laugh, or experimenting with new recipes.
