Irene Velasquez is a licensed marriage and family therapist who provides therapy to adult women ages 18-35. She is trained in EMDR. DBT, and mindfulness therapy. She specializes in women’s issues, trauma, depression, burnout, imposter syndrome, self-esteem and anxiety. She has experience with various populations and incorporates somatic and holistic modalities into her approach. She likes to use humor and praise and provide a warm and safe environment for all of her clients. She enjoys giving clients homework using coping or other skills.
In her spare time, Irene enjoys dancing, hiking and doing crafts. She also enjoys spending time with her loved ones, viewing art, and going to food festivals, concerts and museums. Irene is a big believer in laughter as medicine and enjoys watching funny movies or comedy in her free time. She also loves spending quality time with her toddler.
