Monique Viveros Brando

She/Her
Monique
is a therapist at Two Chairs.
Monique utilizes a variety of I will use in therapy including CBT, which focuses on how our thoughts affect how we feel and behave. Monique's goal is for the client to recognize their negative thought patterns, assess their accuracy, and alter those negative thoughts patterns with healthier, more balanced thought patterns. Monique also draws upon other approaches including person-centered therapy, taking on a non-judgmental stance, offering acceptance, empathy and guidance as you work towards personal growth and positive change. Additionally, Monique takes on a trauma informed approach in therapy, a lens by which she takes into account the impact of trauma on emotions, regulation, and behavior.

In her spare time, Monique enjoys spending time with her daughter, meeting up with her friends, going to the gym or a hike. She recharges by spending time with those she loves, and doing things that are good for her well being.
